Stephanie heard about me from fellow co-workers, Destiny and Mallory. (Thanks so much for the referral, it means so much)!
Stephanie and her husband found out they were expecting on Christmas 2016 and learned they were twins in January 2017!! She says, "We were completely shocked by the news since twins do not run in either side of our families!" They were going from a family of 4 to a family of 6! On Valentine's Day they gave their oldest daughter a poem to read aloud to her brother announcing they would be having not 1, but 2 more siblings! When they found out the gender of the twins, they gave each of their kids a cupcake. One was blue, one was pink!
Stephanie shared she was fearful of carrying 2 babies, but it turned out to be the biggest blessing. She loved when people asked her about her pregnancy and loved responding, "Well, there are TWO in there!" She was able to carry them for 37 weeks and 2 days, both weighing over 6 lbs!
One of her favorite moments from the day the twins were born was when the nurse put both babies in her husband's arms. He had "never been comfortable holding newborns so it was funny to me when the nurse put both babies in his arms at once. The look on his face was priceless! I loved when our kids came to the hospital to meet the babies, they were both so excited to hold them!"

If you are located in Central KY and are expecting, especially twins, I love the opportunity to capture this incredible part of your story. My studio is located in Georgetown, KY, just 30 minutes from Lexington. I would love to meet you and your newborns!
I am so happy you are considering me to be a part of this special time in your life! I know how overwhelming it can be to find a photographer you trust to photograph the most valuable little human in your life! I realize I am often one of the first "non-family members" (outside of hospital staff) to hold your new baby and I consider that a huge honor and responsibility.
I offer new parents a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere where they can watch their newborn be photographed. I remove the stress that portraits typically cause by providing everything you need including clothing, props and accessories. I will create timeless images of your new family and your baby that you will cherish deeply...even more than you realize now. As a mother of 3, my oldest now 11, I know I would give anything to slow down time. While I can't slow it down, I can freeze it by capturing your moments that create beautiful memories.
