Marshall One Year Pictures
What to expect for your One Year Session:
One year sessions are a lot of fun. Little ones are usually on the go; either walking or crawling and are making all kinds of fun expressions! One year sessions will take place inside at my studio located on our personal property in Georgetown.

You can expect your little one to wear a minimum of 2 outfits for pictures on a dark and light background.

Once we are finished with those we will take pictures with the cake! I will provide the cake and cake topper. This part of the session is unpredictable. Sometimes they love it, sometimes they don't touch it. Sometimes they eat it, sometimes they just play in it. We will let them go however long (or short) they want to. I have certain outfits available for boys and girls that are perfect for the cake smash part!

After cake it's time for a milk bath! These were actually added because I was having a lot of little ones who weren't interested in their cake, but they loved the bath. Milk bath pictures have become my favorite part of the session. I will provide everything needed for this part of the session too!

I encourage my clients to use clothes from my client closet for their session. I have a large selection of clothes I know will photograph nicely and it's one less thing for you to have to worry about. My goal is remove any stress that taking pictures may cause and allow you to just show up! I am happy to take care of everything!

I am so happy you are considering me to be a part of this special time in your life! I know how overwhelming it can be to find a photographer you trust to photograph the most valuable little human in your life! I realize I am often one of the first "non-family members" (outside of hospital staff) to hold your new baby and I consider that a huge honor and responsibility.
I offer new parents a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere where they can watch their newborn be photographed. I remove the stress that portraits typically cause by providing everything you need including clothing, props and accessories. I will create timeless images of your new family and your baby that you will cherish deeply...even more than you realize now. As a mother of 3, my oldest now 11, I know I would give anything to slow down time. While I can't slow it down, I can freeze it by capturing your moments that create beautiful memories.
