As a photographer, I can tell you that there are few things more rewarding than when a family is willing to drive a long distance to have their newborn pictures taken. It's a gesture that is both humbling and honoring.

For me, it's an acknowledgement of the value and importance that parents place on capturing these precious moments in their child's life. It's a recognition that these photos are more than just pictures – they are cherished memories that will be looked back on for years to come. It's also a testament to the trust they have in me. They are entrusting me with capturing these special moments and creating images that they will treasure forever. It's an incredible honor and responsibility.

I'm always excited to work with families who are willing to go the extra mile (literally) :) to create something special. It inspires me to do my best work and to push the boundaries of what's possible in terms of creating unique and beautiful images.

In a world where distance can be measured in seconds on a screen, it's heartwarming to see families making the effort to travel for their newborn pictures. It's a reminder that there are some things that are truly worth the journey.

To all the families who have driven long distances to have their newborn pictures taken, I want to say a heartfelt thank you. Your trust and dedication mean the world to me, and I am honored to have been a part of capturing these special moments in your lives.

Here are Dawson's mini newborn session pictures.  His family drove all the way from Shelbyville, KY to see me.
